Apply for Spring 2027

Planning to start in Spring 2027 or later? Follow these steps to apply to the MS Biodiversity Conservation and Management program using GradCAS.

How to Apply for Spring 2027

Follow the steps below to complete your application.

Step1:Start Your Application

Start your application through GradCAS, UW-Green Bay’s new graduate application system. You’ll choose your intended start term, log in or create an account, search for:

  • University of Wisconsin - Green Bay
  • MS Biodiversity Conservation & Management

Step2Submit Required Materials

Submit all required materials directly in GradCAS. The following are required:

  • Completed GradCas Application
  • Current Resume
  • Statement of Personal Intent (up to 1,000 words) describing your decision to pursue this degree and what you believe you will bring to the conservation field. If you do not meet the minimum requirements for the program, please include a description of extenuating circumstances to explain why your application does not accurately reflect who you are as a student and your ability to succeed in a graduate program.
  • Two letters of recommendation from individuals not related to you, with strong knowledge of your professional character. Enter your recommenders' name and email, set a deadline and include a personal note. Let them know they will receive a link to the Liaison Evaluator Portal to create an account and complete a form on your behalf. They also have the option to upload a personal letter.
  • Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions (requested through GradCAS or sent directly).

Step3:Submit & Pay Your Application Fee

Once all required materials are submitted, you’ll complete your application by paying the application fee through GradCAS.

  • Applications are reviewed only after all materials are received.
  • The application fee is non‑refundable.

International Students

This program is 100% online. International students are welcome to apply and enroll. However, you are unable to apply for an F-1 or J-1 visa based on enrollment in this program. In addition to the application materials, you will need to provide further documentation.
