About Spanish & Latin American Studies

Going Global

While focusing local.

Whether you’re a major, minor or just want to take a class to shore up your skills, learning a new language is a life-long endeavor, only part of which can be accomplished in the classroom. You can pursue opportunities for travel and study in Spain, Mexico, Argentina and Chile. But you don’t have to go outside of the country to use your Spanish: our program provides opportunities to work closely with the local Latinx/Hispanic community while earning credit.
