Microsoft Edge Browser
Microsoft Edge comes with a built-in PDF reader that lets you open your local pdf files, online pdf files or pdf files embedded in web pages, and gives you a single application to meet web page and PDF document needs.

Kurzweil 3000
Kurzweil 3000 is a powerful literacy support tool designed to help with reading, writing, and studying. Whether you're looking for text-to-speech, highlighting tools, or help with organizing your thoughts, Kurzweil 3000 has you covered.
How to Access Kurzweil 3000
You can now log in using Single Sign-On (SSO) with your school credentials—no separate password needed!
To get started:
- Visit Kurzweil3000
- Click “Login with Microsoft”
- Use your UWGB email address and password to sign in
For access to Read the Web (web add-on):
- Install the Read the Web extension in your browser
- Open the Read the Web extension and use the 'Sign in with Microsoft' button.
- Login with your UWGB email address and password.
Once logged in, you’ll have full access to Kurzweil 3000’s web-based tools and resources.
Google Chrome Browser
With a variety of tools available, find what feels you.
- Browser with over 2 dozen accessibility features (extensions)
- Customize your extensions to Chrome by adding the extensions of your choice
- Works well on CANVAS

Adobe Acrobat Reader
This provides a free PDF reader if PDF documents are readable PDFs.
- Listen to readings instead of reading them yourself
- Tagged PDFs are read in order in structure tree, untagged are read in logical inferred reading order
- Tagged PDFs will read alternative text descriptions

Bookshare
Bookshare is the largest online library of accessible reading materials for people with print disabilities.
- Accessible books, textbooks, newspapers and magazine are available
- Individuals with Print Disabilities can sign up for a membership
- Books available for download can be read on DAISY players, with Screen Readers, Refreshable Braille Displays, and other Assistive Technology Programs
