Implementation of a medical amnesty policy at UW-Green Bay (PDF)called for the immediacy implementation of a medical amnesty policy, which protects students from violating alcohol or drug policies when seeking emergency services.
Renewal of the Sustainability, Tracking, Assessment & Rating System (STARS) report by UW-Green Bay (PDF)our university should work to receive a gold rating on the STARS report to be an actual Eco U®.
Student Government Association internship process (PDF)the SGA encouraged senators and executive members to apply for internship credits for their work.
Childcare Pilot (PDF)under this resolution, the SGA provided an initial fund of $16,000 from the child care fund to be made available for partial reimbursement of student childcare needs.
Statewide Student Governance (PDF)called for the creation of an effective, well-funded statewide student governance body, which would pass legislation, organize statewide efforts and serve as the system wide student shared governance body.
SGA Cords (PDF)a royal blue and red double non-academic Commencement Regalia Cord will be awarded to graduating seniors with a 3.0 minimum GPA (either cumulative or within major), who have been involved in SGA for a cumulative total of 2 years.
Prior Student Government Experience of Transfer Students (PDF)SGA experience from transfer students, whether from branch campuses or other colleges, is recognized on the Green Bay SGA.
Childcare Alliance & Request for Funding Initial Startup Costs (PDF)the SGA authorized its fund officers to utilize the Sustainability Fund to provide necessary payment for a business plan for childcare.
Eventually limiting or eliminating bottled water sales on campus, in connection with the Pouring Rights Contract (PDF)supported phasing out bottled water sales on campus.
Wisconsin 2015-17 Biennial Budget (PDF)vehemently opposed the 2015-2017 biennial budget reduction to the University of Wisconsin System.
Childcare Establishment Fund Bylaws (PDF)outlined rules and regulations for the establishment of a child care facility or child care service on UW-Green Bay's campus.
Quiet Hours (PDF)the student senate, acting on the desire of the resident student body, supported changing Friday night and Saturday night quiet hours to be later than 11:00 p.m.

Survey Results (PDF): the Quiet Hours resolution was supported through a survey that was sent out to all students.
Plastic Bag Phase Out Plan (PDF)supported the development of a program to phase out the use of plastic bags on campus.
Sustainable Residence Hall (PDF)supported the implementation of a sustainable living residence hall by the Fall of 2012.
Voter ID (PDF)called for creating a policy to have students update their current local address once a semester upon registering for classes to adhere to new rules for voting as outlined in Wis. Act 23.
Electronic Cigarettes (PDF)in action of student complaints and university health and safety, recommended the addition of electronic cigarettes to the current university smoking compliance.
Kress Center (PDF)endorsed the proposal presented to permit faculty and staff free membership at the Kress Events Center.
Voter ID Act Compliance Task Force Report (PDF)a Task Force was convened in July 2011 to research the requirements of 2011 Wis. Act 23, commonly referred to as the Voter ID Act.
Concealed Carry (PDF)commended and supported our administration in its decision to maintain weapons-free campus buildings by posting appropriate signage.
Sustainability Fund (PDF)the Student Government Association Constitution was amended in Article 1 S.3 (3) establishing that the Student Government Association’s Environmental Affairs Committee possesses authority in creating bylaws regarding the Environmental Sustainability Fund.
Campus Garden at UW-Green Bay (PDF)requested $700 to start the 2009 Campus Garden.
Wisconsin Legislators encouraging reasonable & predictable tuition increases within the University of Wisconsin-System (PDF)supported reasonable and predictable tuition increases that will help preserve the program quality at UW-Green Bay.
Wisconsin Legislators further evaluating the Governor's proposed $25 million financial aid increase as funded by UW-System schools' auxiliary funds (PDF)sweeping existing auxiliary balances to fund financial aid in particular is (and has been) an inappropriate use of these student generated monies and is furthering a dangerous and unsustainable precedent.
Create a ridership program for University of Wisconsin Green Bay students and with Green Bay Metro Transit (PDF)UW-Green Bay should pay Green Bay Metro $35,000 for unlimited use of the transit system for a period of one year.

RESEARCH RESOLUTION: UW-Green Bay Student Senate supports the request for funding to increase electronic access to information to benefit students, faculty/staff and all Wisconsin residents (PDF)supported increased electronic access to information.
Gender-neutral restrooms on the UW-Green Bay campus (PDF)supported the conversion (resigning) of ALL existing single-occupancy restrooms on campus from gender-limited (male/female) to gender-neutral and an increase the amount of baby changing stations located in gender-neutral restrooms across campus.
Create global initiatives and opportunities (PDF)proposed the creation of a regular newsletter for students, comprised of global information, initiatives and opportunities, as well as monthly global issues discussion for and by the students, faculty and staff.
Implementing the Syracuse Model at UW-Green Bay (PDF)supported changing class times as followed in the Syracuse Model.
United council referendum resolution (PDF)instructed the Student Court to add the United Council referendum question to the Spring 2007 ballot.
Explore further lobbying options (PDF)encouraged the University Governance committee to investigate further options available to students regarding the effectiveness of the United Council of UW Students.
Price reduction in textbooks (PDF)outlined several ways to decrease the cost of textbooks for students.
UW growth agenda (PDF)supported the University of Wisconsin’s Growth Agenda.
Opposition on proposed changes to UW-System Chapter 17 (PDF)opposed changes to UW-System Chapter 17, in which UW-Milwaukee administration would academically punish students for non-academic behavior taking place beyond the boundaries of campus.
