Mobile Crisis Response Team Orientation
Course Description
This foundational, self-paced orientation training will cover topics including the purpose of mobile teaming, de-escalation techniques, trauma-informed practice, using telehealth with individuals experiencing suicidal ideation, secondary traumatic stress, harm reduction strategies, and peer support in crisis intervention. Concepts outlined in this training will be expanded upon in the 6 live trainings that are part of this Mobile Crisis Response Team training series. Participants should register and complete this self-paced training prior to attending the first live training in this series.

This course is housed within Canvas, University of Wisconsin's online learning platform. Participants work through modules at their own pace, and are required to watch each module in full and pass a series of quizzes in order to progress and to ultimately be awarded continuing education hours for successful completion.
