Katie joined the board in early 2019. Katie grew up in Green Bay and moved back to the area from Milwaukee several years ago. Katie is an Associate Professor in the Communication and Information Science Department. Katie’s research and teaching emphasis is health communication. Katie received her MA and Ph.D. in Communication from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee. Katie also currently serves on the executive board for the Howe Community Resource Center of Green Bay. Prior to moving to Green Bay, Katie was involved with the Ozaukee County Adult Literacy Center as a tutor. Katie resides in De Pere, WI with her husband Kevin and their son Ben.
