Cohort Timeline

Beginning each fall, the program follows a fully online, accelerated format that can be completed in as little as one year. You may begin the program at multiple start points throughout the year, progressing through five 7-week sessions, completing two courses at a time and earning stackable graduate certificates along the way-all within a structured timeline designed for you, a working professional. A one-year-to-degree timeline is provided below. Courses with * can be substituted for alternative classes. Substituting may lengthen the time to degree.

  • Disruptive Innovation: learn how to creatively approach the subjects of ideas instigation, business opportunity need identification and the development of suitable business models within the knowledge-driven, digital, global economy.  
  • The Path to Sustainability: making green and going green aren't opposite dichotomies. This course provides an overarching understanding of sustainability, the relationship between business decisions and sustainability and the reasons why each business decision must be evaluated in term of economic, environmental and social performances.

  • Creating Brand Value: build, manage and protect your brand. Specific areas covered include brand equity, brand value, forming customer relationships around a brand, as well as creating and sustaining brand loyalty.
  • Alternative Futures & Strategic Foresights: How will new breakthroughs, changing technologies and cutting-edge innovations impact business. Apply strategic foresight and enable your organization to reframe preferences and expectations for the future.

  • Artificial Intelligence & Technological Advances: AI is taking the world by storm. Learn how organizations can leverage artificial intelligence (AI) and technological advances to shape and implement strategic and operational changes.
  • Financial Management: valuation lies at the intersection of corporate strategy and finance. The course covers different valuation approaches and their application in measuring and managing firm value.

  • Purpose Driven Leadership: explore leadership imperatives and competencies that are necessary to act on business challenges and drive both personal and organizational success in a competitive business environment. Signature experience course.
  • *The Learning Organization: the course begins with Senge's 5th Discipline, which states that learning organizations depend upon the mastery of five dimensions: systems thinking, personal mastery, mental models, building shared vision and team learning.

  • *Critical Thinking Beyond Business As Usual: business does not happen in a vacuum. This course will move your critical thinking focus from a discipline-specific way of thinking to a more integrated exploration of how disciplines work together and impact one another. 
  • *Culture as a Competitive Advantage: people stay in roles for a variety of reasons. Part of that stems from company culture. In this course, you'll understand the value of the statement "culture eats strategy for breakfast" and then create initiatives to ensure culture drives ongoing performance and becomes a source of competitive advantage.

The Impact MBA is a 30-credit, fully online graduate business program designed for experienced professionals like you who want to lead change, drive innovation and create meaningful impact within your organizations and communities.

The program is organized into five 7-week semesters, with you completing two courses at a time. Courses are grouped into stackable graduate certificates, allowing you to earn credentials along the way while staying on pace to complete the MBA.

You can complete the Impact MBA in as little as one year, depending on your start point and course progression. The accelerated format is designed to maintain momentum while remaining manageable for working professionals. 

Yes. The Impact MBA is 100% online. There are no required in-person meetings, allowing you to participate from anywhere while balancing work, family and other commitments.

Stackable certificates are graduate-level credentials embedded within the Impact MBA program. As you progress, you will earn certificates that recognize skill development in key business areas while also counting toward your full MBA degree.
