Admission Requirements

As you prepare to apply to the Executive Impact MBA program at UW-Green Bay, be aware the program has general Graduate Studies admission requirements as well as Executive Impact MBA specific requirements.

Prepare for the Program

The Executive Impact MBA is designed for working professionals from diverse academic and professional backgrounds with at least 4 years of full-time, post-graduation professional experience across industries, providing a strong foundation in business fundamentals alongside advanced leadership concepts. Your program advisor will help you determine the best path based on your background.

Program Format

You can start at multiple points throughout the year and continue working full-time while earning your degree.

  • 100% online
  • 7-week course format
  • Two courses at a time
  • Complete in as little as one year

General Admission Requirements

Before you begin your application, ensure you meet the general requirements for graduate study at UW-Green Bay. All applicant materials must be submitted through one of our admission systems (CAS portals). While individual programs may have additional criteria, all applicants must provide the following:

  • Complete Application
  • Bachelor’s Degree: You must hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution (or US equivalent) before your first term of enrollment.
  • Resume
  • Official Transcripts
  • Non-refundable Application Fee: A non-refundable graduate application fee will be paid within the online application portal.

No GRE or GMAT Tests

Your potential can't be fully captured by a single standardized test. We are committed to making the admissions process accessible while evaluating your application through a comprehensive review of your academic background, accomplishments and readiness for graduate-level work.

Executive Impact MBA Specific Requirements

In addition to the general Office of Graduate Studies requirements, you must also submit the following program requirements directly into the admission portal (BusCAS):

  • GPA Requirement: A cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Impact Statement (approximately 500 words) that responds to the following questions:  Why do you want to enroll in the Executive Impact MBA? What impact you hope to make for both (a) yourself and (b) your organization by completing this program? 
  • Two letters of recommendation from persons who can assess your potential and motivation to use this program as a developmental accelerator for both personal and organizational impact.

International Students

This program is 100% online. International students are welcome to apply and enroll. However, you are unable to apply for an F-1 or J-1 visa based on enrollment in the program. In addition to the application materials, you will need to provide further documentation.
