The UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus Buccaneer athletics program boasts a strong tradition of award-winning teams and coaches. UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus currently offers the following varsity sports:
- Women’s volleyball (fall)
- Men’s basketball (winter)
- Women's basketball (winter)
- Men's & Women's golf (fall)
Other sports may be open for participation given sufficient funding and interest.

Campus Activities Board (CAB)
The UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus Activities Board is responsible for bringing activities and entertainment to the campus from around the country. CAB members attend the National Association of Campus Activities conference to locate entertainment for the campus. Membership is open to all students.

Creative Writing Club

Students with the YFU program give you an excellent opportunity to learn about other countries and cultures. Monthly potlucks are held on the 2nd Thursday of each month at 6 pm in the cafeteria. Bring a dish to pass and table service. Field trips are also planned. Host families and volunteer tutors are needed to help International students with English.

Intramural sports are offered to meet current student interst and may include flag football, ping-pong, basketball, volleyball, softball, broomball and pool.

N.E.W. Concert Band
The Northeast Wisconsin Band is made up of community members and university students. You can earn credit for participation by registering for MUS ENG 241 in Student Services. The group meets weekly on Mondays at Coleman High School and has one performance each semester.

Northern Lights Arts Journal
The Northern Lights Art Journal is a publication of students and community artwork and creative writing. The journal is currently on hiatus. Instead the English and art faculty have begun a visual art and creative writing contest called Art + Words in the spring of each semester. UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus students also have opportunities to submit creative writing to literature journals located on other UW Colleges campuses from time to time. Students should watch e-mail carefully for calls or contact an English faculty member for more information.

For students who are interested in careers in psychology and counseling.
UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus Student Ambassadors represent the campus to the community. They lead campus tours for high school students during Preview Days and help with orientation and graduation. They also sponsor blood drives on campus. In the past Student Ambassadors have helped during the Christmas season with the Salvation Army and have participated in local parades. Student Ambassadors meet every other Friday during universal lunch hour. This is a great organization for community service and public relations experience.

UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus has a student government and a collegium comprised of faculty, staff and students. This organization is responsible for the distribution of student segregated fees on the UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus. Student Senators are elected by the student body and serve on a variety of campus governing committees as well as the Student Governance Council for the state of Wisconsin and the United Council. Meetings are held every Wednesday during universal lunch hour.

Theatre on the Bay
Theatre on the Bay offers opportunities to UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus thespians in productions year-round. Watch for audition announcements. Students can work on-stage and back-stage alongside professional and community actors and technicians.

Visual & Performing Arts Club
The Visual and Performing Arts Club promotes active participation in the arts on campus and in the Marinette community. Through a combination of workshops, lectures, movies, trips, and activities, students will broaden their creative horizons. This club is open to all who are interested in the arts in any form.

West Shore Chorale
The choir and orchestra consists of university students and community members. Students may take this course for credit as MUS ENS 261. The group meets weekly on Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30 pm in T-117 of the Fine Arts Building. There is one or two performances each semester.
