Core Courses (6 Credits)
- SCM 703 Sustainability in Supply Chains: provides a high-level overview of sustainability challenges in supply chain management, logistics management and transportation. It addresses sustainability policies and integrates sustainability into business decision-making models, preparing students to meet the growing demand for sustainable practices in SCM.
SCM 705 Advanced Operations Management: focusing on improving operational efficiencies, this course covers lean processes, six-sigma techniques and tools, operations planning and forecasting. Students will learn to enhance operational performance and drive productivity through advanced management techniques.

- HUM STUD 420/620 Global Cultures & Trade Laws: introduces the nuances and broader impacts of cultural differences on business operations worldwide. It focuses on variations in trade laws and legal systems, equipping students with the knowledge to navigate and manage cultural and legal complexities in global trade.
- SCM 444/644 Purchasing: covers purchasing, contract negotiation and supplier relationship management. It prepares students to manage procurement processes effectively, negotiate contracts and build strong relationships with suppliers.
- INMGT 718 Advanced Quality Management (offered through UW-Stout): examines the philosophical frameworks of renowned quality experts such as Deming, Juran and Crosby. It emphasizes the role of leadership in strategic planning and quality improvement and analyzes the use of metrics to drive quality and business performance enhancements.
