How to Apply for Fall 2026

Follow the steps below to complete your application.

Step1: Submit the Online Application

Complete the UW-Green Bay graduate application through the Universities of Wisconsin system and pay the $56 non‑refundable application fee

Apply Here

Step2: Send Official Transcripts

Submit official transcripts from all colleges or universities where you attempted 9 or more credits. You don't need to submit UW-Green Bay transcripts (if you attended UW-Green Bay) or Study abroad transcripts for one semester or less.

Send transcripts by one of the following methods:

  • Email: uwgb@uwgb.edu
  • Mail:
    UW-Green Bay Admissions
    2420 Nicolet Drive
    Green Bay, WI 54311

Step3:Provide Recommendations

You will need two letters of evaluation as part of your application. The letters should be from people who can assess your academic potential (such as a supervisor and/or previous instructor). These letters must be submitted by your evaluators, not by you. The graduate admissions office will not accept letters submitted by the applicant. Here’s how the process works:

  1. Complete the first two sections of the MSN letter of evaluation form.
  2. Save the form and send it to each evaluator you have selected.
  3. Each evaluator will complete the remaining sections and send the form directly to the Office of Graduate Studies on your behalf. Completed evaluations should be sent by one of the following methods:
    • Email: gradstu@uwgb.edu
    • Mail:
      Office of Graduate Studies
      UW-Green Bay
      2420 Nicolet Drive
      Green Bay, WI 54311

Step4Submit Statement of Interest, Resume & License

Submit the following with your application or email it to gradstu@uwgb.edu:

  • Statement of Interest: This statement of no more than 500 words outlines your academic interest in leadership and management, nursing strengths and capabilities, knowledge of online technology (computer use, online course work, etc.), reasons for pursuing a MSN degree, a description of where you see yourself in five years and a description of an idea for an evidence-based practice leadership project.
  • Your curriculum vitae or resume
  • A copy of your current, unencumbered U.S. RN license
