What is Risk Management?

Risk Management develops a culture where safety, health and compliance are practiced throughout all levels of the University. We partner with faculty, students and staff to recognize risk and empower them to learn and work safely.

For Employees

In order to mitigate risk and ensure the best conditions for safety at UW-Green Bay, employees need to follow certain regulations.

Trainings include driving and vehicle use, records management, safety and worker's compensation. Some trainings are required, but you're able to self enroll at any time.

For Volunteers

Volunteers serve in a variety of ways on campus, from our Athletic Program to campus clean up. Volunteers who are not part of youth protection activities require a Volunteer Agreement. If you're volunteering for University business, you may be covered under the University's liability program so long as any potential liability occurs while you perform duties that fall within the scope of a Volunteer Agreement description. Volunteer positions carry no remuneration or other employment benefits.
