The Course-based Track is ideal for coaches, athletic trainers, strength & conditioning specialists, health/wellness/fitness specialists, or anyone working with performance-oriented clients wanting to have the knowledge and skills in mental performance to give their clients an edge and optimize performance. The course-based track fulfills coursework requirements for the CMPC® credential but does not provide opportunity for mentored hours required of the CMPC® credential. Inform Career Experiences

Prepare for your career by taking a range of required and elective courses that fit your career interests.

The Course-based Track is designed for students who are preparing for careers in coaching, student athlete development, athlete support services, and leadership. Students on this track will take courses that provide the theoretical foundation on performance improvement and behavior change, in addition to other areas related to SEPP. The Course-based Track is intended for those interested in acquiring performance-related knowledge and skills through coursework.
