Getting involved in extracurricular activities and other campus events will open up another dimension of college life for you. Campus activities will allow you to develop new skills, build your resume, increase leadership potential, and create new friendships.

UW-Green Bay, Sheboygan Campus offers you opportunities larger campuses often do not. As a freshman or sophomore, you may be an editor of the campus newspaper or literary magazine, chair committees composed of faculty and students, serve as president of one of a variety of clubs, or earn a starring role in a theater production.

Why join an organization?

Participation in clubs and organizations enhances your college experience by sharpening your organizational, leadership and communication skills. You also have an opportunity to make new friends by getting involved in any of the many activities on campus. Start a New Club or Organization

Don't see a club or activity in which you have an interest? Start a new campus organization!

What about a club related to your intended major? Invite speakers, take tours, and meet people in your profession-to-be. Or what about starting a chapter of a club you've been involved in before? Money is available to help new clubs get started. All you need is a group of four interested students and a faculty or staff advisor to get started! Helping Hands of UWGB Sheboygan Campus

A service-based club that conducts projects to help the local community and environment.

SHB Astronomy Club

The UWGB Sheboygan Rocket Club assembles a rocket for and competes in the Collegiate Rocket Launch competition.

Sheboygan Student Senate

Student Senate is responsible for allocating the segregated university fee dollars of approximately to campus clubs and organizations annually. Student Senate also utilizes its grass roots organizational skills to deal with students' rights, such as advocating on behalf of students on the national, state and local levels for adequate financial aid, promoting student activities and camaraderie, providing student representation on campus committees, and proposing changes in University policy number among Student Senate's many activities. The Senate also arranges activities throughout the year including cosmic bowling, roller skating and dances, community service projects, movie nights, live entertainment, and assorted field trips.
