Bardia Batala
Professor Batala is an Assistant Professor in Business Administration for the Cofrin School of Business at the University of Wisconsin- Green Bay. He received his Ph.D. in Business administration with a concentration on Hospitality and Tourism Management from Oklahoma State University (2023). Additionally, he earned his MBA in Marketing from Allameh Tabataba’i University (2014) and BSc in Industrial Engineering from Karaj Azad University (2011). Professor Batala also obtained two Graduate certificates from Oklahoma State University, one in Entrepreneurship and another in Statistical Methods and Analyses in Education and Behavioral Sciences.
Professor Batala’s research interests include consumer behavior, services marketing, and brand management. Specifically, he has done research on the factors leading to the tourist flow experience and how mobile technology impacts the tourist experience. Moreover, he has been engaged in several entrepreneurship projects, receiving several grants and winning competitions.
With over seven years of experience, Professor Batala has taught undergraduate and graduate students various marketing and hospitality courses.
