Completion Requirements

Requirements For Program Completion
  • Completion of all supervised practice rotations with a satisfactory evaluation. A satisfactory evaluation indicates the intern has demonstrated performance equivalent to that of an entry-level dietitian.
  • Satisfactory completion of projects and assignments associated with rotations, Friday class, leadership assignments.  Examples of these include:
    • Leadership events – examples include: Research Review presentation, Open House, television cooking segments, culinary adventure with Girl Scouts.
    • Assignments associated with rotations – examples include: patient care plans, group and one-on-one education, quality improvement project, development and execution of special cafeteria meal.
    • Friday class work – examples include: leadership training, Nutrition-Focused Physical Exam training.
