Green Bay Campus Physical Activities

Check out some free and low-cost physical activity events, classes and opportunities in the community!

  • Recreational trails in the Green Bay area are a great and FREE way to get active!
  • Titletown offers wellness walks, yoga, cardio and dance classes ranging from $0 to $10 per class.
  • YWCA has $20/month fitness center passes with cardio and weight equipment included. Otherwise, bump it up to $34/month for students and $40/month for adults to include the pool and fitness classes.
  • YMCA has a memberships ranging from $30 to $49/month for with fitness classes including Zumba.
  • Bomier Boat Launch in Depere has a spot specifically designated to lauch your kayak or paddleboards.
  • Depere Recreation offers different yoga, Zumba and cardio 7 week classes for $37-$42.
  • UREC (UWGB Recreation) has a long list of activities (in-person or virtually) for students and faculty to participate in.

Winter Activities

There are also plenty of activities to do in the colder months!

  • Snowshoe or ski on the many trails such as Baird Creek or the Wildlife Sanctuary for free!
  • Titletown has skating and tubing on Ariens hill for $7-$17 on weekends.
  • VFW park or Legion park in Depere both have outdoor ice skating rinks, open to the public.
  • Sledding hills in Depere are also plentiful.
  • Join the Bay Nordic ski community of Northeast Wisconsin. Nordic skiing opportunities for all age and skill levels.
