Civility & Connection Team (CCT)

Mission

The Civility and Connections Team (CCT) responds to reports of bias and works to promote a respectful, inclusive campus environment at UW-Green Bay. This multidisciplinary team listens to those involved, addresses bias-related concerns and coordinates non-disciplinary responses aimed at education, dialogue and resolution. Incidents that involve policy or legal violations are referred to the appropriate office for formal investigation and action.

CCT Advisory Team

Advisory members have expertise in areas and can be consulted when needed. All primary and advisory members will make up the Advisory Team. This group meets no less than twice annually to review summary data, analyze trends and provide feedback related to changes in protocol and education for the campus community.

Coordination, Assessment, Response & Evaluation (CARE)

Mission

The CARE (Coordination, Assessment, Response and Evaluation) Team is a group of university professionals dedicated to supporting students who exhibit concerning, disruptive or harmful behaviors, or who share safety-related concerns. Through early intervention and prevention, the team coordinates individualized support plans tailored to each student’s academic and developmental needs. In alignment with university policies, members may also serve as case managers to address student well-being and campus safety.

Threat Assessment Team (TAT)

Mission

The Threat Assessment Team (TAT) reviews and responds to reports of student behavior which may result in harm to themselves or others. TAT takes a proactive, multidisciplinary approach to objectively assess threat levels and recommend appropriate actions through strategic outreach and/or referral for student misconduct. TAT focuses on early identification of risk and targeted interventions to reduce the potential for disruption, harm or violence. The goal is to maintain a safe and supportive environment in which the community can learn both in and outside of the classroom.

Relationship, Education, Assessment, Coordination, Training (REACT) (DONE)

Mission

The Relationship, Education, Assessment, Coordination and Training (REACT) Team helps foster a university environment that prioritizes safety and respect by ensuring a compassionate response to sexual and interpersonal violence that aligns with state and federal laws. Through comprehensive education and training, students, faculty and staff are empowered to recognize, prevent and respond to harm. Using date informed practices, appropriate responses are coordinated for all involved in incidents of sexual misconduct. Collaborating with campus partners works to ensure impacted individuals receive timely and appropriate resources and referrals.
