How Can We Help?

Our services include:

  • Providing academic, social and cultural support to help multicultural students achieve their educational goals.
  • Orienting and advising new multicultural students to the culture of the institution.
  • Promoting and deepening students’ understanding of their own and other’s cultural heritage and identity.
  • Educating the campus community on the ways diverse cultures enrich the college experience.
  • Providing leadership training for multicultural students where issues of diversity, identity and cross-cultural communication skills can be strengthened.

Monitored Academic Progress (M.A.P.)

Monitor Academic Progress (M.A.P.) is a undergraduate student support program that partners undergraduate students of diverse backgrounds with a Multicultural Student Success Manager to ensure academic success. You'll work closely with a Multicultural Student Success Manager to monitor the academic development and progress of each course you take at UW-Green Bay by using reported grades, mid-semester grades and faculty feedback. The M.A.P. system will alert you of academic successes and difficulties which will allow for accurate individual support/guidance and referrals based on academic needs. This program helps you continue through your college journey, close any achievement gap and see you through to a successful graduation.

To set up your appointment with an Multicultural Student Success Manager, please use Navigate to setup a meeting with Cindy Johnson and/or Miriam Brabham, call (920) 465-2522, or email us. We look forward to working with you!
