Choose Your Start Term
Because UW-Green Bay is transitioning to a new graduate application system, your application process depends on the term you plan to start. Choose your entry term below to find the right path forward. Application fees are non-refundable.
Fall 2026 Application
If you plan to begin in Fall 2026, you’ll apply using the Universities of Wisconsin application.
- Applications close: Late August 2026
- Classes Begin: September 2, 2026
Spring 2027 Application
If you plan to start in Spring 2027 or any future term, you’ll apply through GradCas, UW-Green Bay’s new graduate application system.
- Applications open: April 20, 2026
- Classes Begin: January 25, 2027
Admission Requirements
To apply to the Applied Leadership for Teaching and Learning (MS) program, you must meet the minimum requirements below.
- A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- A minimum of 3.0 GPA (grade point average) measured on a 4.0 scale, based on the final two years of undergraduate study
If you show strong potential but don't meet every requirement, you may still be considered for provisional admission. Your academic background, writing ability and professional experience are reviewed as part of the admission decision. The GRE isn't required.
Application Timeline
This program uses rolling admission. Applications are reviewed as they are received, and decisions are made up to the start of the term.
International Students
International students are welcome to apply. Additional documentation is required, including proof of English proficiency.
Not Seeking a Degree?
If you hold a bachelor’s degree or higher and want to take graduate courses or get a certificate without pursuing a degree, you may enroll as a special student. Graduate credit will be awarded if you register for graduate-level courses and pay graduate fees.
