Requirements vary for each type of trainer. Consult the Wisconsin Community-Based Care and Treatment Training Registry to ensure you understand the requirements for the area(s) in which you instruct.

Online Courses
Fulfill your continuing education requirements as a state-approved trainer from the comfort of your home, office or facility — all at your own pace.

Medication Administration
9 Hours: $195
Learn best practices for Medication Administration. Provides 9 of the 12 hours needed for continuing education credit hours in Medication Administration. The balance of 3 hours can be earned by taking Adult Learning Principles.

Standard Precautions
3.5 Hours: $75
Expand your knowledge by exploring new transmission principles. Provides 3.5 of the 6 hours needed for continuing education credit hours in Standard Precautions. The balance of 2.5 hours can be earned by taking Adult Learning Principles.

Fire Safety
3 Hours: $75
Discover new techniques in fire safety and prevention. Provides 3 of the 6 hours needed for continuing education credit hours in Fire Safety. The balance of 3 hours can be earned by taking Adult Learning Principles.

Adult Learning Principles
3 Hours: $65
Become a more effective, confident and engaging instructor with practical approaches.
First Aid & Choking
Gain skills necessary for responding to first aid emergencies.

First Aid & Choking Essential Skills
5 Hours: $130
Provides 5 of the 6 hours needed for continuing education credit hours in First Aid & Choking. The balance of 1 hour can be earned by taking Preventing and Treating Pressure Injuries.

Preventing & Treating Pressure Injuries
1 Hour: $50
Learn about prevention and treatment strategies related to pressure injuries. Provides 1 of the 6 hours needed for continuing education credit hours in First Aid & Choking. The balance of 5 hours can be earned by taking First Aid and Choking Essential Skills.
Course Details
- When you register, you will be given immediate access to the course. Courses must be completed within six months of registration.
- Once you log into the course, you will no longer be able to receive a refund.
- Please note our registration software can only accept Visa and Mastercard. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Apply for State Renewal
Once you have completed your coursework, you will need to submit an application for renewal to the Wisconsin Community-Based Care and Treatment Training Registry for each core area.
