Give Back

Many alumni give back as a way to express their gratitude to those who made a difference in their lives. Making gifts to the Fund for Excellence or to UW-Green Bay scholarships is a tradition for alumni and friends of the University.

Fund for Excellence

Donations to the Fund for Excellence continue to make a remarkable impact on the University community. Recently, funds have been awarded efficiently and effectively:

Matching funds attracted a $100,000 grant to help students in financial distress. 97 students received one-time financial assistance to help them navigate unexpected financial crises.

Renovations in the lobby of University Theatre provide a welcoming gathering space for theatergoers and visitors to the Lawton Gallery;

  • A new fully turfed softball complex is under construction this summer for use by students and the Phoenix Women's Softball team;
  • Academic grants to each of the four colleges at the University allow faculty to work directly with students on special individual and group projects;
  • Campus police officers, our men and women in blue, are sporting new protective vests. These vests protect officers from the impact from high caliber weapons giving them the best protection available.
