Before You Visit

The UW-Green Bay Archives and Area Research Center is open to visitors and researchers of all ages. Researchers do not need a direct affiliation with UW-Green Bay to use our collections and services. No special permission, letters of reference or appointments are required. Individuals wishing to use our materials must complete a registration form and present a valid photo ID. Materials must be used in our reading room and may not be checked out.

Copying and scanning equipment is available in the Archives Department. We also have wireless options for your devices. You will be able to save from our equipment to a portable storage device.

Small fees are associated with copying and printing. We are not able to accept credit cards. Scanning is free.

Before you make a research trip, we encourage you to browse our website to discover the types of materials we have in the Archives. Search for materials located in the UW-Green Bay Archives and the Wisconsin Historical Society that pertain to the history of northeastern Wisconsin and UW-Green Bay.
