Location & Directions

The UW-Green Bay Archives and Area Research Center is located in room 705 of the David A. Cofrin Library, which is in the center of the UW-Green Bay Campus, directly across from the Weidner. You can get directions to campus or use the following address for GPS: 2420 Nicolet Drive, Green Bay, WI 54311.

Where to Park

  • Enter campus at Main Entrance Drive, which is the 2nd entrance off Nicolet Drive.
  • There is very limited 15-minute parking at the Circle Entrance, which is right in front of the Library.
  • The closest parking is in the Weidner lots behind the Weidner. Follow the Main Entrance Drive to the Circle Drive (Phoenix Statue), then continue past the Weidner building (on the left) to the parking lots.
  • Visitors to UW-Green Bay can park for free for up to five (5) visits per semester.
  • If you have exceeded your five (5) free visit limit for parking, you will need to park and use the ParkMobile app to pay for parking. Stalls for parking with ParkMobile are clearly marked with signage. The app is free to download on a smart device (such as a smart phone or iPad).

Accessing the Archives and Area Research Center

  • At the Circle Entrance (street level), you have the option to walk up the slight hill to the plaza entrance of the Library (2nd floor) or walk down the slight hill into the Circle Entrance at the concourse level (1st floor).
  • From the concourse level (1st floor), walk straight down the wood-paneled hallway and follow the brown tiles in the floor to the elevators (down a short hallway on the right). Take elevator #3 to the 7th floor of the Library.
  • From the plaza level (2nd floor), the entrance to the Library will be on your right as you enter the building. Take an elevator to the 7th floor of the Library.
  • The Archives Department is just off the lobby doors.
  • The Archives Department is also accessible via the stairs.
