What Is FOCUS?
Entering your first year of college can be exciting, but a little stressful. FOCUS is designed to help you make a smooth transition.
FOCUS - or First-year Opportunities and Connections for UW-Green Bay Students - is a series of programs that provide tools for achieving academic success, and opportunities to meet people and develop friendships.
You’ll get the information you need, as you need it - each program builds upon the one before it and gives you a preview of what is to come.

During this one-day program, you’ll take care of business - registering for fall classes and getting that important University ID card. You’ll also meet faculty, staff, and returning students. You’ll have questions, and you’ll get answers.
The UWGB Student Ambassadors are your tour guides, mentors, orientation leaders and fellow students. These student leaders are great resources to help you discover what UWGB is like and to help you get started as a student here.
