Financial Aid

Financial Aid Advisors are available to assist GB Orientation students and their families. The Financial Aid Advisor will help individuals review their files, address questions or concerns, and take appropriate next steps toward paying for college.

The Family Education Right to Privacy Act (FERPA) is a federal law designed to protect the education records of students from kindergarten to graduate school. In the university setting, it gives the enrolled student, regardless of age, control of their records held by the university. FERPA affords students certain rights with respect to their education records. For more information about FERPA, click on the button below.

Ways You Can Help

Here are additional ways you can stay connected, informed, and supportive of your student's transition to UW-Green Bay:
  • Encourage your student to check their UWGB email regularly!
  • If you are on Facebook, join the UWGB Family of a Phoenix page! This is an area to receive updates, ask questions and engage in conversation with fellow families of UWGB students.

  • Monitor updates via the GB Orientation website as well as the Phoenix Forward website which features common questions regarding COVID-19.

  • Be sure your student downloads the Navigate app. We will use this app to share timely information, help your student stay organized and connected, and schedule appointments with support services such as Advising and the Learning Center during the school year.
