Looking for Student Employment?
Working while attending college is a great way to gain job skills, network and (of course!) earn money. A number of campus offices and community employers hire students. Students can begin
searching for positions in the Handshake portal approximately two weeks after registering for classes (watch for an email invitation from Career Services in your UWGB account).

We help to coordinate efforts among the professional programs of nursing, social work, and teacher preparation. We monitor and evaluate all academic initiatives within these professional programs. Student Absences: If a student is going to be missing more than two days of classes, they can call or email our office and we will notify their faculty on their behalf. We also do the same if there is a death in the family to help support students going home to be with their families.
Academic Options: When something non-academic is interfering with a student’s academics (medical concern, mental health, interpersonal conflicts, etc.) we meet with students to connect them to campus or community resources as well as advise them on options to help limit the impact on their academics.
Title IX: Our office provide support and resources for individuals affected by such issues as harassment, sexual assault, dating/domestic violence and stalking. Reporting a concern does not mean action will be taken against the other party, it is just a request for help, support and guidance. |

Kress Events Center with an expansive fitness center, aerobics studio, five gym spaces (including a turf gym), swimming pool, racquetball courts, outdoor recreation field spaces, and a disc golf course.
