Personally identifiable information change requests (name change, gender change or Social Security number) must be validated with appropriate documentation.

Graduation Details

Here you’ll find information on degree requirements, how to apply for graduation, degree and commencement information, and the senior fee.

Graduation Fee

The graduation fee is used to cover academic record and security related costs including records maintenance, data storage, degree conferral, diploma production, diploma covers and associated mailing costs. All students are charged the one-time, non-refundable, $45 graduation fee once they reach 84 earned credits. Questions regarding this fee should be addressed to registrar@uwgb.edu.

When You're Ready to Graduate

Check your degree progress report to ensure you satisfy all requirements for degree residency and your majors and minors. If questions remain about graduation requirements, see your professional advisor.

Reading your degree progress report is easy! Find out how to track courses you have taken, see Academic Requirements.

When You'll Get Your Diploma

At the end of the semester in which you graduate, the Registrar’s Office will review your academic requirements to ensure you've satisfied all necessary requirements. If you have satisfied all requirements, you'll get an email with a digital download of your diploma for your records, and an official diploma will be mailed to your home address on record. For more information about the date of degree and timeframe for receiving diplomas, visit the Registrar's site.
