Visit our curated fine arts gallery year-round.

Art has the power to change the way we see the world, opening our minds to new perspectives, ideas and values. Our fine arts gallery is a community gallery that features local artists rotating on a monthly to bimonthly basis. All are welcome to visit the gallery Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The gallery is free to visit. Please sign our guest book on your way out.

The gallery is located inside the Bayshore Arts Center, 750 West Bay Shore Street, Marinette, Wisconsin. 

August

Art in Bloom: August 1-31

A community collaboration exhibit. Reception August 24, 3-4 p.m. 

September

Looking into the Past, World War II Photography: September 1-30

Reception September 21, 6-7 p.m. (prior to the World Fest Concert).

October

Young Artists: October 1-31

The Young Artists exhibit will feature work done by local students from Marinette, Menominee and Peshtigo.

Meet the Artist Reception October 4, 6-7 p.m. (prior to the opening of "Roald Dahl's James the Giant Peach JR. – produced by Children’s Theatre").

December

Winter Wonderland: December 1-31

The Winter Wonderland exhibit is a monochromatic display of the color white across various medias. Submissions accepted until November 20.

Meet the Artist Reception December 13, 6-7 p.m. (prior to the opening of "Christmas by the Bay – produced by Theatre on the Bay").

The Fine Art Gallery within the Bay Shore Arts Center is available to rent for private events.

Bay Shore Arts Center Business Hours

The Fine Arts Building, including the student lounge area, is open during the week:

  • Monday - Thursday: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Friday - Sunday: Closed
  • Open for all special events.

Access to the building or locations within the building may be limited to staff available.  Signage will be posted advising of the availability of virtual services.
