Financial Planning Day
Learn, Connect &
Thrive
October 2024 • The Weidner
The UW-Green Bay Personal Financial Planning Program and Charles Schwab Center for Financial Wellness introduce Financial Planning Day. This day-long event provides company representatives and financial planning students with a structured opportunity to get to know each other and mutually advance their aspirational career objectives. Networking between firms, students and educators advances the financial planning profession.
Demand from Firms for this event was significant, with committed sponsor dollars and trending strong from students. To help guarantee multiple, meaningful, and measurable scheduled interviews, we decided to postpone the inaugural event to fall October 2024. We thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you then. Join us on April 15 for a candid conversation about financial literacy with renowned personal finance expert and Operation HOPE CEO John Hope Bryant. Please contact Dr. Preston Cherry at cherryp@uwgb.edu for comments or questions.
