Janet’s Closet: a trans-owned and operated store that advertises as the “World’s Largest Cross-Dressing Store” that offers a wide variety of clothing, accessories, shoes, videos and helpful blogs.

National Center for Transgender Equality: advocates to change policies and society to increase understanding and acceptance of transgender people. In the nation’s capital and throughout the country, NCTE works to replace disrespect, discrimination, and violence with empathy, opportunity, and justice.

Planned Parenthood: in addition to offering reproductive healthcare, also provides gender-affirming care.

Psychology Today - Find a Trans Therapist: a national website with listings of counselors and therapists that have experience and expertise in assisting trans people, family members and friends.

TG Forum: offers blogs, news, editorials and links for trans folx to interact with.

Trans 101 (powerpoint download): made by Liz Riendeau and offers a comprehensive guide to understanding the trans umbrella.

TransAthlete: a resource for students, athletes, coaches and administrators to find information about trans inclusion in athletics at various levels of play. This site pulls together existing information in one central location, and breaks down information into easy-to-reference areas to help you find what you need.

Trans Families: inspires hope, increases understanding and creates a visible pathway to support trans and gender-diverse children and all those who touch their lives. They offer online support groups for anyone interested.

Trans Lifeline: offers support for transgender people by fellow trans people. The number to call for support is 877-565-8860.
