Police-Community Advisory Council

The Police Advisory Council (PAC) provides a forum for all members of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay community to discuss law enforcement and restorative justice practices on campus. The PAC’s charge is to accept, review, and deliberate over concerns voiced by students, faculty, and staff so as to offer the Chief of Police and university leadership input on programs and projects aimed at improving campus safety. It was established as a resource for the Chief of Police’s development of community policing concepts and programs and as a democratic forum for learning about the objectives and practices of the police department. Comprised of a diverse cross-section of the campus community, the PAC consist of various representatives of colleges, offices, and student groups: these members are charged to leverage their voices as well as those of the community to integrate a broad representation of campus viewpoints into police department planning strategies.
