The University is notified regularly of scholarships offered by local, regional, and national organizations. In general, we limit this listing to awards that are geared towards Wisconsin residents or students attending schools within the state. Students who want to conduct a broader search may find the resources on the Helpful Links page to be useful. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information, nor are we responsible for the content in any of these outside sites or sources of information. Ab Nicholas Scholarship Foundation

Eligibility: Available to any and all high school basketball players and managers, boy or girl planning to pursue a college degree with any UW System school. Most recipients will not play at the college level.

Eligibility: 1) Woman majoring in Accounting or Finance 2) Entering senior year in the Fall 2017 semester (current junior).

Altrusa International Green Bay Scholarship

Eligibility: 1) Returning to school to complete technical/college education that was previously interrupted, 2) Be completing studies in fields related to improving your level of literacy or quality of life, and 3) Have demonstrated need and be able to justify this need for additional assistance.

American Association of University Women (AAUW) Appleton Branch

Eligibility: 1) Applicant must be a female who graduated from a high school in the greater Fox Cities or currently resides in the Fox Cities and has done so for the past 10 years. 2) Must entering her Junior or Senior year, or be enrolled in a graduate program. 3) Enrolled full-time. 4) Submit a complete application packet.

Brule River Sportsmen's Club Scholarship

Eligibility: Intend to use this scholarship at the junior, senior or graduate level. Attend a college in Wisconsin or Minnesota. Be preparing for a career in natural resources. Be majoring in public policy, law, political science, engineering, or any other field in which the student could prepare for a career in a profession that would further public understanding, appreciation and conservation of natural resources. Lastly, must be a member of the Brule River Sportsmen's Club or the child or grandchild of a member.

Eligibility: 1) Graduating high school senior 2) Applicant must be a primary member of the Credit Union with an account in good standing

Hammett, Bellin & Oswald Law & Justice Scholarship

Eligibility: 1) Incoming freshman planning to attend a Wisconsin college or university during the 2017-2018 school year 2) Minimum 3.00 GPA

The Jaycees of Wisconsin Foundation, Inc.

Eligibility: 1) Applicants must be at least 21 years old, having returned to school after at least two years off 2) Applicant must be a continuing student with at least 2 semesters of school completed since returning to school (Summer school does not apply and student must be enrolled in upcoming term.). 3)Must be attending a Wisconsin post-secondary institution pursuing a minimum of a two year undergraduate program. 4) Must be full time as defined by the school they are attending. 5) Must show have a 3.0 GPA.

Lou McGlothian Memorial Scholarship

Eligibility: 1) Ethnically-diverse college junior, senior, or graduate student. 2) Must have a delcared major and earned at least a 3.00 GPA. 3) Must have submitted a FAFSA. 4) Must submit official transcript.

Polanki Polish Women's Cultural Club of Milwaukee

Eligibility: 1) Junior, senior, or graduate student status. 2)Of Polish ancestry; have studied Polish language, history, society, or culture; OR significantly engaged in Polish culture. 3) Preference for a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

SFM Foundation Scholarships

Eligibility: 1) Available to students who have had a parent become injured or killed in the course of working for an Iowa, Minnesota, or Wisconsin employer.

Shawano County Farm Progress Days Scholarship

Eligibility: 1) Be a Shawano County resident, or currently studying at a high school within Shawano County.

Soroptimist International of Fond du Lac: Dr. Virginia Wagner Award

Eligibility: For a woman curently in a baccalaureate or advanced degree program. It is based on need, academic worthinesss, and the woman's own effort toward her education. Applicants must submit current transcripts with applications.

Vincent L. Hawkinson Scholarship for Peace and Justice Studies

Eligibility: Applicant must be a resident of (or currently attending school in) Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota or Wisconsin. They must demonstrate a commitment to peace and justice through at least one of the following: completed a specific peace and justice project, were courageous in pursing their convictions about peace and justice, displayed ongoing commitment to and leadership in a peace and justice organization, or served as a role model for others in moving a religious community or society into new realms of thought and practice regarding peace and justice.

Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants Educational Foundation

Eligibility: Scholarships are awarded to qualified accounting students in their fifth year of academic study and working toward the 150-hour requirement to sit for the CPA Exam. Scholarships are based on academic achievement, a written personal statement, and letters of recommendation.

Wisconsin Garden Club Federation Scholarships

Eligibility: Juniors, seniors, or postgraduate students having a scholastic record of not less than a 3.0 GPA who are Wisconsin residents and pursuing the study of horticulture, landscaping, environmental sciences, conservation, forestry, or similar fields of study.

Wisconsin Laboratory Association (WLA) Scholarship

Eligibility: Must have completed at least one semester of coursework and be enrolled in a curriculum that enables student to pursue a career in a non-medical laboratory related field. Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.

Eligibility: Amy Hunter-Wilson, MD, Scholarship: Available to American Indian student pursuing training or advanced education as doctors of medicine, nurses, or in a related health field.
