Donate to the Viking House
Keep the Past
Donations help us provide more opportunities for the community.
The UW-Green Bay Viking House started because of a donation from the Christiansons. Now, donations solely fund events and learning opportunities we provide to the community. Your gift can help promote the preservation of ancient Scandinavian traditions and culture that are at the heart of the Viking House and Viking Festival.
Wisconsin Humanities supports local programs, like the Midwest Viking Festival, that help bring communities together.
National Endowment for the Humanities
Professor Heidi Sherman has secured funds from the National Endowment for the Humanities by demonstrating the educational opportunities we provide.
Viking Connection, HCSCC
As a part of our partnership, Viking Connection in the Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County, Minnesota provides us with funds through 2023 to help us host the Midwest Viking Festival.
College of Arts Humanities and Social Sciences
The College of Arts, Humanities and Social Science here at UW-Green Bay donates money because of our hands-on learning experiences, not only for our students, but also for our community.
Sons of Norway
A local organization dedicated to upholding and preserving Scandinavian culture, the Sons of Norway has donated multiple times to help us host the festival and maintain the house.
In honor of his father, Harry Olson, Tom Olson made a generous donation to the Viking House.
