General Information

You have been admitted. What's Next?

Review Admission Packet

All admitted students receive an admission letter and additional information via postal mail. This should arrive within several days of admission being granted. Read all instructions carefully. Use the instructions to log into our Student Information System (SIS) and check your UW-Green Bay email. Most correspondence and important University news will come via SIS and UW-Green Bay email.

Get your Student ID Card

Your University ID card may be needed for access to certain classrooms, the Kress Center, and to access certain services. You can obtain your ID card at the University Union.

Get a Parking Pass

For students taking on-campus classes, UW-Green Bay offers virtual parking passes. The fee for parking is automatically assessed to students each semester, unless they choose to opt out of the parking pass. For students taking only online classes, no parking fee will be assessed. For more details about parking on-campus visit the Parking website.

Course Registration

Before you may register, all students must complete the payment agreement. This is not a deposit, but it is an agreement to pay for your courses. You can view details and complete the agreement in your SIS account under the Finances section.

At least one week before registration starts, we will notify you by email that the schedule of classes has been released and that you have been assigned a registration appointment. This is not an actual meeting, rather, it is the date and time you are first able to register.

We encourage all new students to meet with an advisor prior to registration. Please contact Academic Advising to arrange a face to face or phone meeting to discuss your transfer credits, ask your questions, and get help choosing your UW-Green Bay classes by calling 920-465-2111.

Additional registration instructions can also be found online at Advising's How Do I Register?
