How do I apply?

  1. Apply to UW-Green Bay and select Pre-Nursing as your major.
  2. Verify you meet the admission requirements.
  3. Complete the BSN Traditional application by May 15.

How many students are accepted into the Traditional BSN program each year?

Each year, 48 students will be accepted into UW-Green Bay's Traditional Bachelor's of Nursing program.


Do I have to take January interim or summer courses?

No. Students may have the option to take these courses to lighten their fall and spring course loads, if they choose.


Where will I complete clinical experiences?

Nursing students will be required to complete clinical experiences at a variety of local hospitals, long-term care facilities and community agencies.


Can I transfer from another nursing program to the Traditional BSN option?

Yes, It's best to speak with a nursing advisor for specific details related to your circumstances.


If I attend the UW-Green Bay campus in Marinette, Manitowoc or Sheboygan, can I apply to the BSN Traditional option?

Yes. Please contact the advisor on your campus to learn more about the pre-nursing academic plan.
