Career Assessments

Tools such as Focus 2, CareerLocker, the Strong Interest Inventory, or MBTI might assist you in determining potential career fields or majors. These contain inventories where you respond to choices regarding your interests, competencies, and preferences. Your profile is then related to various careers. A career advisor will meet with you to determine whether an assessment tool could help you with your career or major decision-making, and help you interpret your results.

Focus 2 guides users through a reliable, intuitive career and education decision making model to help choose a major, explore occupations and make informed career decisions.

New Users: Click on the Focus 2 logo above or "Access Focus 2" box below to access the log in screen and create an account. You will need to enter the following access code: phoenix. Complete the requested information on the registration form and create a unique username and password.

CareerLocker is a career development website designed to help individuals with career awareness, exploration and planning. It has an interactive self-assessment tool that will help you learn more about yourself and your career goals and options. If you are interested in accessing this tool to assist you with deciding upon a career or major, please contact Career Services to meet with a career advisor who can help you interpret the results.

New Users: When accessing CareerLocker for the first time, you will be asked to provide a registration code before creating your unique personal account. To receive that registration code, please contact us at (920) 465-2163 or careers@uwgb.edu. Please note: Only currently registered University of Wisconsin Green Bay students will be provided access to CareerLocker
