Joy Wick serves as the Executive Director for Advancement. Joy’s efforts are dedicated to working with alumni, businesses, organizations, community leaders and individuals to secure private funding and partnerships to support university priorities. Joy has a specific focus on bolstering the visibility and success programs within the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, including the arts, music, and theatre programs; as well as the College of Health, Education and Social Welfare, including nursing, education and social work. A graduate of UW-Oshkosh majoring in journalism and fine art (painting, drawing), Joy worked as a journalist for daily newspapers for 15 years before making the shift to nonprofit marketing and communications roles. She completed the Impact MBA at UW-Green Bay in May 2022. She is a Rotarian, and serves as a member the Brown County Community Gardens Advisory Board, and is a member of the Green Bay and De Pere Antiquarians Society.
