Marinette Foundation

UW Marinette Foundation
The University of Wisconsin Marinette Foundation is a Corporation organized to promote accessibility to quality higher education in Marinette/Menominee and the surrounding area. In furtherance of that purpose the Foundation board members work to:

1. Raise funds to support student scholarships and faculty development.
2. Provide prudent oversight for all funds received by the foundation.
3. Foster partnerships between the campus and community to recognize and promote the beneficial impact one has on the other.
4. Advocate on behalf of the University of Wisconsin-Marinette on public policy issues which affect higher education.

Mission Statement

The UW-Marinette Foundation’s mission is to inspire a climate of charitable giving to support student, faculty, and campus growth and development utilizing prudent fiscal management of foundation assets.

Objectives

  • Keep higher education accessible through student scholarships.
  • Provide the financial support to ensure innovative and relevant faculty development and programs.
  • To foster partnerships between the campus and community to recognize and promote the beneficial impact one has on the other.
