407 Gallery
ABOUT
407 Gallery serves as a laboratory for students enrolled in Art and/or Design at the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay and acts as an exhibition resource for those students. 407 Gallery is an active showcase of UW-Green Bay art and design students, promoting their work, research, and the program as a whole. Hosting 2-3 student exhibitions per semester, 407 Gallery exhibitions are open to any UW-Green Bay enrolled students to submit in any medium.
SUBMISSION OPPORTUNITIES
407 Gallery exhibitions are free and open all to UW-Green Bay enrolled students regardless of year in school or major. Any media or combination of media including, but not limited to: painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, graphic design, sculpture, ceramics, jewelry/metals, textiles and performance will be accepted. All work must have been completed within the last 12 months and not submitted to a previous 407 exhibition.
Loneliness, Connection, Community
February 20th - March 31st, 2023
Submissions due: February 13th, 11:59pm
Work due: Thursday, February 16th 10:00am - 2:00pm
Examine the causes and consequences to what appears to be an epidemic of loneliness and disrupted social connection and explore possible paths toward rebuilding a sense of community.
Home
April 10th - May 5th, 2023
Submissions due: April 3rd, 11:59pm
Work due: Thursday, April 6th, 10:00am - 2:00pm
What does "home" mean to you? Is it a place? A feeling? this exhibition examines the complex theme of home.
**Note** You will need to fill out two seperate entry forms if you enter both exhibitions.
