Graduate Assistantships

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay offers a Graduate Assistantship (GA) for students pursuing the Master of Science in Management degree (MSM). Graduate Assistants are graduate students who, in the course of their academic training, are employed in part-time positions with the University. The purpose of these assistantships is to help train professionals in the field of Management. All duties and services Graduate Assistants provide are to be carried out under the supervision and direction of Cofrin School of Business faculty or staff. MSM Graduate Assistants are selected through an application process managed by the MSM Program Chair. 


Qualifications:
To qualify for the MSM Graduate Assistantship, the applicant must:
  • Be fully admitted to the MSM Program
  • Be enrolled for a minimum of six credits of course work each semester and no fewer than 15 credits during the entire academic year
  • Maintain at least a 3.0 grade point average for graduate courses
  • Preference will be given to students with prior Teaching Assistant or Graduate Assistant experience
 
Duties and Expectations:
  • The Graduate Assistant (GA) is expected to devote approximately 20 hours per week to assigned duties, during the academic year.
  • The GA is under the supervision of, and reports to, the Masters of Management Program Chair.
