Annual Campus Security Reports

The UW-Green Bay, Manitowoc Campus Annual Security Reports include statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus, in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by campus and on public property within or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus.

The reports also include institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault and other matters.

Students will be notified each year, via e-mail, when the updated report is published. Copies of the report can be obtained from the Solution CenterView the most recent UW-Green Bay, Manitowoc Campus Annual Security Report and Annual Fire Report.

If you choose not to attend class due to weather conditions, please phone or e-mail your instructor. Please keep in mind that if you miss class, you are responsible for making up the work. The campus can only be closed by order of the chancellor or governor.

Severe Weather Policy

UW-Green Bay, Manitowoc Campus rarely cancels all classes for severe weather and only when the campus cannot be safely accessed by a majority of our students. Please note that even when classes are cancelled, that does not mean the campus is closed.

Weather-related cancellations will be communicated by:

  • An alert through text and campus email through the eAlert Notification System.
  • eAlert banner on the website home page.

Sign up for the UW-Green Bay, Manitowoc Campus eAlert System.

Notices will ONLY be posted if ALL CLASSES are cancelled at UW-Green Bay, Manitowoc Campus.

If classes are in session despite the weather, you are also encouraged to check the D2L sites for your classes to verify that your instructor has not cancelled that specific class due to inability to get to campus. Do not call the campus for information on individual class cancellations.

We do not cancel classes automatically when the public schools are closed or running late.  Because University students are adults and are not dependent upon school buses, we use other criteria in making this decision

You are always encouraged to use your own judgment regarding the safety of the roads. Conditions can vary depending upon your location and commute.
