This class focuses on upper body and core exercises using a variety of equipment. It's a great way to define, sculpt and build lean muscle.

Aqua Fitness
Join us for a fun, shallow water exercise class! This workout uses the natural resistance and buoyancy of water to provide an effective, low-impact routine. This is a great class for all ages and fitness levels.

Butts & Guts
This class focuses on lower body and core exercises using a variety of equipment. It's a great way to define, sculpt and build lean muscle.

Dance Cardio
Fun dance workout to your favorite songs! Includes kickboxing elements with easy-to-follow steps.

Pilates
Controlled movement performed on a mat or standing designed to strengthen the core "powerhouse." It improves flexibility, strength, endurance, range of motion and posture.

Relaxation Yoga
This class is designed to open the body with gentle, slow, and traditional yoga postures and movements. After some gentle movement, the class will transition to a restorative practice with deeper stretches, and relaxation techniques to de-dress and calm your mind and body.

Sunrise Yoga
This yoga flow class moves through sun salutations, standing poses, balance poses, and seated stretches to give your body more energy and nourishes you with a positive attitude to fully prepare for the challenges of the day ahead.

Yoga
This yoga flow class moves through sun salutations, standing poses, balance poses, and seated stretches to get blood and energy moving throughout the body. We work on full-body strength and flexibility and focus on connecting movements to the breath. The class is open to all levels and offers modifications.

Zumba®
We take the "work" out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you'll see why Zumba® classes are often called exercise in disguise.

Learn to teach your own class!

Every Spring UREC hosts an 8-week in-house group fitness instructor training program. Learn to teach various types of group fitness classes (yoga, HIIT, strength, etc.). No experience required. Meets every Friday for 1.5 hours.
