Accounting Student's Association

About ASA:

The purpose of the Accounting Students Association is to encourage and support accounting students by strengthening interactions and communication among faculty, students, and business professionals. Students in the Accounting Students Association work hard to not only become involved on campus, but to also to give back to the community as well as network with accounting firms and businesses. Our members make active decisions to get involved on campus and better themselves within the accounting profession through networking and becoming a part of a group that supports each other. The Accounting Students Association provides many opportunities for the students to network with firms which often leads to internships or full-time positions upon graduation. The amount of time, work, and preparation put into making these activities happen deserves recognition at graduation for all members actively involved. Members of our organization join to give themselves an edge and work hard to make themselves stand out to the accounting professionals. Our organization helps to bridge the gap between students and accounting professionals in regard to not only networking but helping the accounting professionals improve and enhance their recruiting efforts. The Accounting Students Association also helps many accounting students get familiar with the CPA exam process.
