Data science encompasses the theoretical and practical application of ideas. UW-Green Bay is working in partnership with leading experts to make available a speaker series that demonstrates how to utilize big data in creative and powerful ways. Topics are Python in "Harry Potter," Statistical Science, Data & Team Sports Decisions, Succeeding as an Entrepreneur, Equity in Data Science, Twitter Case Study: Sentiment Analysis, and Scouting for Talent with Data.

Attending job fairs, workshops and other events provides more real-world experiences and skills than what you learn in your classes. Most importantly, you can get connected with people in your field – maybe you’ll even meet your future boss.

First Generation UWGB students in the Mentoring Project meet with their mentors from the community for the first time as we kick off the second year of the program.

Students, faculty and staff are welcome to gather and socialize in the Rosewood Café. Get to know student orgs and key campus resources, plus enjoy free snacks and join in on a scavenger hunt and prize raffle drawing. No registration required.

In this double-feature company tour, UWGB students, faculty, and staff are invited to tour Breakthrough Fuel and Schneider. Both are leaders in Data Analytics within the Supply Chain industry.

This is a quiz bowl competition that helps teach high school students about personal finance and economics. FICB aligns with statewide instructional standards and is an effective strategy to promote learning. The Competition features student teams competing for trophies, fabulous prizes, and the opportunity to qualify for the state championship - all in an atmosphere of friendly competition.

Pitch your innovative ideas, and compete for prizes. This competition is open to all UW-Green Bay students, and those who participate in the free Innovation On-Ramp virtual course are especially welcome to submit the ideas they have developed.
