Biography

Jim Filter is Executive Vice President, Group President of Transportation and Logistics at Schneider, a premier provider of transportation, intermodal and logistics services. He is responsible for all aspects of Schneider’s three operating segments: Truckload, Intermodal and Logistics, as well as Sales and Marketing. Filter started his career with Schneider in 1998 as a Maintenance Team Leader. Prior to assuming his current role in 2022, Filter was the Senior Vice President/ General Manager of Intermodal and Chief Commercial Officer. Prior to joining Schneider, Filter worked at UPS and served in the United States Marine Corps. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and an MBA from Wayne State University. His community involvement includes serving on the board of directors for Family Services of Northeast Wisconsin and the Advisory Board of the Cofrin School of Business.
