Applying as a Graduate Special Student
Explore Graduate Study Your Way
Affordable. Flexible. Designed for you.
Graduate Special Students are individuals who already hold a bachelor’s degree or higher and want to take graduate-level courses or a graduate certificate at UW-Green Bay—without enrolling in a full graduate degree program. Accelerated Programs
Undergraduate Students
Accelerated Programs at UW-Green Bay are designed for students interested in pursuing a graduate degree program upon completion of their baccalaureate degree. Undergraduate students accepted into select programs may take graduate-level courses that fulfill requirements for both an undergraduate and graduate degree.
Graduate Degree
Graduate Special Students
If you decide to pursue a UW-Green Bay graduate degree, you must submit an application and be admitted. Certificates in your corresponding degree are stackable and can be used to fulfill degree requirements. Graduate courses can apply towards a degree or certificate provided they are in the required course listing, or they are approved as a substitution.
International Students
International applicants will also need to provide English proficiency, as well as a course-by-course evaluation of their transcript. For further information, please refer to the international requirements page.
