We're back for another exciting year.
Enjoy seven magical evenings of music with the wind ensemble and big band, performed by local community members, UW-Green Bay students and high school students. Our talented musicians are committed to presenting you with a variety of repertoire at the highest level, with everything from jazz classics to patriotic works, solo features, film music, and holiday favorites. We can’t wait to make music for you!

Upcoming Concerts 2026-2027
The Lakeshore Wind Ensemble kicks off our 43rd concert season with the theme “Opposites Attract,” a true test of musical chemistry. We’ll perform bold classics, contemporary works, and unexpected musical pairings that prove great opposites really do attract.

Music of the Masters: Pirates & Princesses
Saturday, October 10, 2026, 7:30 p.m.

Adventures will meet fairy tales in a playful blend of high seas and royalty! We’ll begin with the cinematic greatness of “Pirates of the Caribbean” and the comic operatic charm of “The Pirates of Penzance,” and then shift to the timeless magic of Disney princesses like Moana and Belle.

Festival of Christmas: Merry & Melancholy

The holiday season will shine with both joy and reflection this Christmas! With Tom Zalaski as narrator, the LWE will weave together festive favorites like “The Nutcracker” with more introspective works like “I’ll Be Home for Christmas.” This performance will remind you that the holidays are as meaningful as they are merry.

A Pop of Color!
Sunday, January 17, 2027, 2:00 p.m.

The Lakeshore Wind Ensemble and Lakeshore Big Band unite for a vibrant, color-themed “pops” concert including “Paint it Black” by The Rolling Stones, “Yellow Submarine” by The Beatles, “Purple Rain” by Prince and “Golden” by HUNTR/X from the movie K-Pop Demon Hunters. Student artwork from Lakeshore area high schools will be featured, adding a special pop of color. Gather your crew, dress in your favorite color, and enjoy this unforgettable show!

The Winds of March: Classical & Rock

Two worlds collide in an evening of tradition and rebellion! The first half will feature classical repertoire alongside performances by our Young Artist Competition winners. After break, our stage will transform with rock classics as our vocalists take over.

Celebrating all the colors of our world with songs such as “Bein’ Green,” “Blue Skies” and a top hit by Chicago, “Colour My World.” Enjoy guest musicians Nick Stone and the Valders High School Jazz Band.

An American Salute: Marches & Movies
Saturday, May 1, 2027, 7:30 p.m.

Experience an evening of music featuring selections from “Victory at Sea,” and the legendary John Williams. A playful circus tribute will add to the selection of heroic film scores and marches. Our season closer will celebrate Americana, and the enduring spirit of our nation.

"Music is one of the rare things a person can be involved in throughout their entire life. The Lakeshore Wind Ensemble is a great place that brings people from the community together of all different ages, interests, careers to work together toward the common goal of creating interesting and fun concerts together. Being the Assistant Director of both the LWE and the LBB, I’m honored that I get to lead both groups for our annual Pops Concert each January."

Meet Jeremiah Eis, conductor of the Lakeshore Wind Ensemble. An active low brass performer, he has performed with the 132D Army Band, Manitowoc Symphony Orchestra, Newtonburg Brass Band, Oshkosh Symphony Orchestra. He's even performed at a Packer half-time show! If you have questions, he can help.
