Join us for our 36th Concert Season! “Sharing Our Passion for Music”

The Lakeshore Wind Ensemble and Lakeshore Big Band perform at the Capitol Civic Centre in historic downtown Manitowoc. Tickets are available for purchase at the Capitol Civic Centre Box Office during business hours or online at cccshows.org. Individual tickets for adult’s main floor and mezzanine are $16; student and balcony seating is $9. Sales tax and preservation fee additional.

LWE Music of the Masters

Our first concert will feature the music of Ralph Vaughan Williams and other masters of music of the mid century. We are delighted that Lawrence University Professor of Tuba, Marty Erickson, will join us to perform Vaughan Willams’ Concerto for Tuba, in addition to English Folk Song Suite and Flourish for Wind Band. Also on the program will be works by Bela Bartok, Vincent Persichetti, and Paul Hindemith.

Lakeshore Big Band Passion

The Lakeshore Big Band invites you to an exciting Friday evening of passion. Bring someone you love, and share songs like My Romance, Isn’t It Romantic, Fever...and more! Aerialist Linda DiRaimondo from Cycropia Aerial Dance Troupe in Madison, WI will wow guests as she performs above the stage along with special guests Roncalli High School Jazz Band.

LWE Festival of Christmas

Join us for another traditional LWE Festival of Christmas, with holiday favorites including The Saints’ Hallelujah, David Bourgeois narrating T’was the Night Before Christmas, program narration by TV host Tom Zalaski, and the Festival of Christmas Children’s Choir.

Lakeshore Wind Ensemble and Big Band Pops

Saturday, January 18, 2020, 7:30 pm
The LWE will present music of Vienna and the Strauss family, including Overture from Fledermaus, Kaiserwaltz, Thunder and Lightening Polka, and Radetzky March. Broadway singer and Manitowoc native Emily Kosloski will share her beautiful voice with us on stage. Expect a good time with the LBB as Anything Goes! You’ll be treated to tunes from the Big Band era with movie music and everything in between. Vocalists David Bourgeois and Kim Hofmann will join the band on Somewhere Out There. Guest LBB Conductor Chris Woller will share a trumpet solo with the band on Roy Eldridge’s Rockin’ Chair.

Lakeshore Big Band Spring Fever

Take a walk with the Lakeshore Big Band, conducted by Paul Sucherman, as we celebrate the month of April, spring and its weather! Enjoy selections such as Stormy Weather, Blue Skies, Here’s That Rainy Day, and I’ll Remember April. We will continue to “share our passion for music” this season with special musical guests, the Manitowoc Lincoln High School Jazz Band 1, directed by Rebekah Mueller, and the UW Green Bay, Sheboygan Campus vocal jazz ensemble, join us!

LWE An American Salute

Canceled: Saturday, May 2, 2020, 7:30 pm

A program of music celebrating our beloved nation (another shared passion), including American Salute by Morton Gould, Americans We by Henry Fillmore, and a wonderful arrangement of America the Beautiful featuring the combined voices of the Capitol Civic Centre Community Chorale, directed by Jim and Susie Miller and the Community Choir of Door County, directed by Cheryl Pfister and the band directed by guest conductor David Bourgeois. Join us as we honor service members in attendance during Armed Forces Salute arranged by Bob Lowden, you are encouraged to wear your service attire and patriotic colors as we salute you!

  • Renewing Subscribers: The Capitol Civic Centre will have new seating with larger seats and more leg room with the completion of their Act Two renovations. Due to the seating changes (see insert) we can no longer provide the same seats. All renewing subscribers will be handled on a first come first serve basis for the 2019-2020 season. Place your renewing subscription order anytime between April 30 and June 1, 2019. 
  • New Subscribers: New subscriptions are available starting June 3, 2019. Orders can be sent anytime before June 3 to ensure access to the best available seats once renewing subscriptions are complete.
  • Single Tickets: Available for purchase starting Monday, September 9, 2019 at the CCC Box Office and online at cccshows.org.
