Karen Lacey Scholarship

Specific to graduate students pursuing their master’s degree and RDN, the Karen Lacey Scholarship was recently established. Contact Professor Debra Pearson, the Program Director of the Master of Science in Nutrition and Integrated Health, for additional information.

Additional Program Costs

Along with the typical costs associated with the graduate coursework, there are additional costs associated with the required supervised practicum (supervised experiential learning (SEL)) that occurs in professional sites such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, public health agencies, WIC clinics and school food service facilities. These facilities require persons who interact with patients/clients to meet certain requirements such as a background check, vaccinations, drug tests, etc. See below for the various costs associated with the program.

*The program fee applies to the mandatory Friday 2-hour supervised practicum class instruction, coordination of supervised practice site scheduling, verification and submission of preplacement facility requirements, preceptor recruitment, training and management, leadership development projects, establishment and maintenance of facility agreements and program accreditation reporting and maintenance.
