Analytics and Technology Certificate

- SCM 706: Supply Chain and Operations Analytics: The Supply Chain and Operations Analytics course focuses on the critical role that data analytics plays in modern Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Logistics Management (LM). Students will learn how to interpret, analyze, and apply data-driven insights to enhance operational efficiencies, optimize decision-making, and drive business success. Students will also learn how Business Intelligence (BI) is used by organizations to make better business decisions, use fewer resources, and improve the bottom line. Students will learn numerous in-demand technical skills.
- BUSAN 635: Foundations of Strategic Information System: Information Technology (IT) is an integral part of all organizations and plays a vital role in various functional areas, including marketing, accounting, finance, human resources, operations, and supply chain. It also supports key applications such as business intelligence, data analytics, security, internal controls, and new product planning, among others. Due to the dynamic nature of IT, it is essential for organizations to continuously reevaluate their strategic alignment with it. A well-designed and strategically managed IT system has the potential to significantly enhance a business's competitive advantage. This course covers the critical managerial aspects of IT's growing impact on today’s organizations, along with trends, business implications, security, privacy, and ethical considerations.
